Naim Ovator S400s
The Ovator loudspeaker represents another 'first' for Naim. The design is the first high-end loudspeaker to employ a Balanced Mode Radiator. This clever device covers the audio spectrum from 380Hz upwards to beyond the limits of human perception, which means that, unlike conventional loudspeakers, it has no crossover right in the middle of the critical voice region to affect its performance.
This speaker sounds wonderfully natural whether it is reproducing the biggest bass drum or the tiniest triangle.
Beginning with the S-600 and now joined by the S-400, the Ovator Range is the result of a four-year development programme and represents both a remarkable new expression of proven Naim speaker engineering and a technological advance that, quite literally, recasts the accepted ground rules of electro-acoustics.
Naim NDX
The NDX is a network audio player with the potential to transform music in the home. It can play UPnP audio streams, internet radio, iPod or iPhone audio, and files stored on USB memory hardware. Three high resolution S/PDIF digital inputs complete its versatility.
NDX is however more than just a versatile network audio player. It embodies Naim's unrivalled digital audio experience and knowhow to provide music reproduction quality equivalent to the best-in-class CDX2 CD player and HDX hard disk player. It makes music with vitality and clarity, rhythm and warmth. NDX defines a new class of high-end audio source equipment and brings to it genuine audiophile performance.
The Naim Uniti System
Our first all-in-one audio system, and the first product we launched in the Uniti family, NaimUniti exceeded everyone's expectations and has proven to be immensely popular world wide. The single case contains a CD player, an amplifier, and a multi-format tuner delivering FM, DAB and internet radio, together with a whole host of analogue and digital inputs. It can also stream digital media from any UPnP-enabled device (PC, Mac) or Network Attached Storage (NAS) on the home network and has iPod connectivity. You can even connect a turntable, if you so wish. UnitiQute joins its larger sibling, also offering all-in-one capabilities, minus the CD player, but in a smaller, more compact casing.
The most recent addition to the family is the UnitiServe: a high-performance hard disk player/server with a Naim ripping engine, 1TB of internal storage, and UPnP server capabilities to serve audio to the NaimUniti and UnitiQute, or any UPnP-enabled media player.
You can easily combine these devices together with an iPhone / iPod Touch control app to form a high quality wireless multi-room audio system: UnitiSystem. The only wired connection needed is that between the UnitiServe and the network router to ensure reliability and the best streaming quality: everything else operates wirelessly.
Fraim Light
FraimLite, the entry-level model in the Fraim range, provides the perfect equipment support system for Naim and other hi-fi equipment.
A stripped back version of Naim's reference Fraim, FraimLite operates on the same principles, providing a rigid, self-levelling platform for supported hi-fi equipment that isolates hi-fi separates from each other and their environment. Its simplified design results in a more affordable and simpler-to-set-up equipment support system that still looks stunning in a modern domestic listening room.
Alternative level heights and finishes are available across both models to match the settings of the room in which the system will be situated. Uprights are available in black or natural anodised aluminium finish and come in a choice of three lengths: standard, medium and tall. Shelving panels are available in ash, black ash and cherry real wood veneers.
